Each year, through member and lodge donations, the Sons of Norway awards college scholarships to a group of exceptional young people.
Meet Our 2009 Recipients
Daughter of Chris Berg, Alisha plans to attend Everett Community College or Lake Washington Tech to become a Dental Hygienist. Alisha has dedicated her life to helping others through volunteerism.
Granddaughter of Duane & Pamela Gleave, Addison plans to attend Gonzaga or WSU majoring in Speech Pathology. Her impressive highschool record and golf swing are paled only by her love of community service.
Sponsored by Steve and Barbara Mustach, Ashleigh has plans to continue her love of children at Central WA. University in Elementary Education.
Hannah Christine Taylor
Sponsored by Frank Taylor, Hannah plans a future in Nursing/Physical Therapy at Washington State. She comes highly recommended by all she touches in her many activities and volunteerism.
Pride and joy of Grandmother Elsa Weber, Alexa hails from Arlington High, and plans a future in business after educating at UofW or Western. She has been active in multiple team sports, school organizations, and volunteering.

Sponsored by Ida & Ed Colebourn, Erin, who has lettered in every sport she has ever played, now plans a successful life with numbers at Western in their accounting program.
Granddaughter of Irvin Hansen, Kayla excedes her prowess in athletics only by her impressive GPA and talent for American Sign Language. She will be attending Western WA. University as a Secondary Education major.
Grand-dad Steve Irish is proud that Lauren plans to take on the University Of Washington in it's Biology program with future hopes to become a Pediatician. Lauren currently volunteers with those in need.

Granddaughter of Maxine Larson. Marielle the musician (accomplished oboist), athlete, and academic whiz plans a future in Environmental Science & International Business.

Son of Richard Lee Robinson, Musician/Athlete Andrew plans to study bioengineering at Western Wa. University
